RiverStone Health Looking for New Joliet Clinic Location

RiverStone Health Looking for New Joliet Clinic Location

After more than 16 years seeing patients in the Joliet Community Center, RiverStone Health Joliet Clinic is looking for a new location in the community.

The Clinic is currently open Tuesdays and Fridays in the Joliet Community Center, co-leasing the space at 209 East Front Avenue with Beartooth Billings Clinic Physical Therapy. Last month, Beartooth Billings Clinic notified RiverStone Health that demand for services will require the expansion of Beartooth Billings Clinic’s days of operation on days when the space is occupied by RiverStone Health.

“We are committed to serving our patients in Joliet and surrounding communities,” said Jon Forte, RiverStone Health President and CEO. “We know there is a need for primary healthcare here for people of all ages, and RiverStone Health is dedicated to providing high-quality family and preventive medicine in Joliet.”

The RiverStone Health clinic will continue to operate as normal until the move, which could come as early as Spring 2025. Because of limited available real estate in Joliet, staff is working with the community to find a space suitable for relocating the clinic.

“While the decision was not easy, we are excited for the growth opportunity for speech, occupational and physical therapy access in the Joliet community,” said Abby Lotz, Beartooth Billings Clinic CEO. “We plan to continue our collaborative referral relationship with RiverStone Health. Our teams work well together, and we will continue to support one another through this change. Growth and stability for both our organizations remains a top priority.”

RiverStone Health opened the Joliet clinic in 2008 to provide primary and preventive care to the community.

“We are excited for Beartooth Billings Clinic’s expanded services in Joliet, as the need for therapy services is great” Forte said. “The community support for our Joliet clinic has been incredible from the beginning, and with their help we will find a solution that will keep these essential healthcare services close to home.”

The clinic continues to operate fully on the normal schedule, offering primary and preventive care, immunizations, lab testing and medication assistance.

The Joliet clinic will offer drop-in school sports physicals on Friday, August 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic in Bridger, 410 South 2nd St., will offer sports physicals on Thursday, August 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

As a Community Health Center, the clinic offers services to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay with fees on a sliding scale based on household income. RiverStone Health’s Community Health Centers offer improved access to primary and preventive care, effective management of chronic illnesses, cost effective care and high-quality care.
